MANAGED SERVICES

What are managed Services?
Managed Services is the proactive management of an IT asset, object or infrastructure, by a third party typically known as a MSP (Managed Service Provider), on behalf of a customer. The operative distinction that sets apart a MSP like 4U Computer Solutions, is the proactive delivery of their service, as compared to reactive IT services, which have been around for decades.

By having this range, we cater for most size businesses. You can choose what to include and exclude from our Service Agreements.

How does it work?
The hourly rates we charge are dependant on the agreement package you choose.
You will be charged at the agreement rate monthly in advance.
Package sizes are reviewed every 6 months. 1 Change is allowed within the first 3 months

The agreements range from a monthly fee of $250.00 to $3000.00. By having this range, we cater for most size schools.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE REPORTING

Preventative Maintenance Reparting is a service where you get a monthly report on the status of your server. By having these monthly checks, potential problems can be picked up before they become critical. This report is like a health check for your server.

What gets checked?
Event Logs
CPU and Memory usage
Drive Space availability
Virus checks and definitions are up-to-date
Backups are running as scheduled
Microsoft Updates and Patching
IT support is not all about setting up your IT infrastructure and doing damage control if a server fails. A large portion of the work done by reputable IT businesses like, 4U Computer Solutions, actually focuses on regular monitoring of your system performance to ensure that everything is working as it should.
Monitoring is central to productivity. Computer networks and servers operate based on available bandwidth, resources, services, which determines the number of users which can access the server at the same time and at what speed the connection will be. If the server experiences any problems – from a total loss to a slowdown caused by undetectable malware or other complications related to memory, disk or connectivity – your staff might experience degraded connection speeds, loss of emails, or other productivity inhibitors. While these may not always cause your business to come to a complete standstill, they can impact the work day and slow down performance in the organization.

Concerns might occur in your software, operating systems, or even the hardware that makes up your systems. Any and all of these things might malfunction, which means that your IT system will not be working up to its full potential.
